An experienced writer with 11 years experience writing for Sunday Mail and Daily Record in Scotland. I also have experience working in a PR agency for over two years, where I looked after clients including Ideal Home Show Scotland, The Cake & Bake Show Scotland, Glasgow Credit Union, Hilton Hotel Glasgow and Cameron House Hotel Loch Lomond.
Enthusiastic, with a passion for writing and meeting people. No job is too big or too small.
In order to get the best out of a feature, I’ve not been afraid of getting stuck in. This has led me to some diverse and surreal experiences like kayaking on the River Clyde to getting stuck in the mud at boot camp, to wearing wellies to report from T In Park to off road driving and go-karting to detoxing.
Previously responsible for previewing and breaking new music acts, together with established artists, which include interviewing Arcade Fire, Snow Patrol, Kasabian, Kaiser Chiefs, Razorlight and many others.
I have a passion for social enterprise, charity, arts, music, theatre, cinema, travel, fitness, health and lifestyle and above all, people and their stories.
I’m an accomplished networker and communicator who is adaptable and flexible and displays a willingness to apply existing skills as well as learn new ones. I have a friendly, approachable yet professional approach.
